Every Wednesday Junior and Senior Infants come together in the hall for Infant Singing. Some of our favourite songs include Icky Sticky Bubblegum, Boa Constrictor and the Horrible House!

Good evening to all members of our school community! The month of September is flying by at Ballinteer ETNS and it is wonderful to see our new pupils settling in. It is hard to believe we are now over three weeks into the first term

Senior Infants September

Senior Infants have been making new friends in September and talking about what family means in their classroom.   Look at the wonderful reflections in our spéaclaí! Senior Infants also designed their own glasses just like Benjamin in Benjamin and the Super Spectacles!

Spring has Sprung!

An Amazing April

In Senior Infants, we managed to fit a lot of fun activities into our two weeks in school. We had a visit from SEAI who told us all about energy and how we can conserve it. We also had a visit from Woolly Pet Farm. 

Active Week

From the 13th to the 17th of June we held our Active Week in school. This included activities like; Zumba, scavenger hunts, sports day stations, discos, yoga, basketball, picnics, an astro dance party and of course, ice-cream. We all had a blast!

The 1916 Rising with 6th Class

Junior Infants Update

The children are really enjoying the theme of “Home” for Aistear the last couple of weeks. They particularly love the Home Corner, with the kitchen, dining and living room. They have taken on the roles of parents and children, chefs and baby sitters. They have 

Ready Set Go Maths! Sorting

Junior Infants have been busy sorting ! We can now sort objects into sets according to their colour, size and shape. We even sorted objects into living and non living sets. We can sort into tubs , using Venn diagrams, Carroll diagrams and sorting trays.
